Why every smiley should have a nose:
1.
:) looks stupid.
:-) looks witty.
2. Every smiley needs to breathe, especially when they're not smiling with their mouths open.
3. I changed the tagboard settings just now (with the help of our IT rep). If you type :), it will automatically change to the ugly smiley which has eyebrows that look like the chinese word "ba1" (eight). BUT if you type :-), it will remain as :-) !
